Last Christmas makes no sense. If “last Christmas I gave you my heart” and then “the very next day you gave it away” the giver no longer has a heart. So “this year to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special” isn’t possible because that giver no longer has anything to give having given away their heart the year before.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 (𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟔) 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 | A REVIEW
ALBUM SCORE: 10/10
Rock Opera Extravaganza!
The pinnacle of My Chemical Romance's career. The Black Parade shaped a generation.
A story about a patient's journey of facing death, My Chemical Romance captured it all in the most dramatic manner by their unapologetic and brutal lyricism. No album captured an energy as intense as The Black Parade delivered.
The unnecessary hatred this had and still has, the thriving growth of the, so called, "emo culture", the lives it saved and the temporary demise of the band itself made this album an instant modern classic.

Catching Fire's Impact Cannot Be Understated
Catching Fire marks the point of no return within the Hunger Games timeline, with the uprisings in Districts 3, 4, 8 and 11 changing the course of the narrative, not only as pivotal moments in the world of Panem but pivotal moments in Katniss’s life, where she is now stepping into the adult world within the Hunger Games system. Suzanne Collins continues to impress and stun with the detail and…

Rediscovering a Classic: A Review of "Little Women" (2019)
As a long-time admirer of Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women” and a fan of the original classic film adaptation, I approached Greta Gerwig’s 2019 version with a mix of excitement and curiosity. The story of the March sisters has always held a special place in my heart, and I was eager to see how this modern retelling would resonate. I can confidently say that Gerwig’s interpretation not only…
